The Summer Hill Community Centre is an environmentally friendly purpose built building that has a range of offices and halls to suit all your individual hire needs. The following information has been compiled to assist you in determining the venue that is most appropriate and suitable for your needs. Hirers have access to all common areas such as the foyer, kitchen facilities, courtyard, carpark and toilet areas during the specified time and day of their booking only.
The Summer Hill Family Support Services offers a range of preventative and early intervention services to families in the inner west with at least one child aged 12 and under.
These services can range from: counselling, case work, information and referral, advocacy and education and support groups to mention but a few. Please note this office is only open by appointment only.
The east facing Lethington hall overlooks the enclosed play equipment area and landscaped gardens. It has a maximum capacity of forty-eight people and it measures fifty square meters.
The Lethington hall offers a range of additions such as: fluorescent lighting, wooden flooring, freshly painted, acoustic ceiling panels, reverse cycle air conditioning, louvres, tables and chairs.
The north-east facing Kable hall overlooks both play equipment areas and landscaped gardens, including tennis courts, skatepark, picnic and barbecue areas. It has a maximum capacity of twenty-two people and measures twenty-five square meters.
The Kable hall offers a range of additions such as: integrated alarm and proximity access system, freshly painted, fluorescent lighting, wooden flooring, acoustic ceiling panels, reverse cycle air conditioning, ample natural light, louvre, cupboard space for hire, tables and chairs.
The north facing Kanguroo hall offers panoramic views of picnic and barbecue areas, playgrounds, oval, tennis courts and cricket pitch. The Kanguroo hall is twenty-five square meters, offering a maximum capacity of twenty people.
Additional features include: electric security entry, integrated alarm system, digital overhead projector, whiteboard, ceiling fans, wall-mounted heaters, tables and chairs, vinyl flooring, kitchenette and cupboard space for hire.
The Lethington & Kable halls combined house a maximum capacity of seventy people and is seventy-five meters square. All additional features for both the Lethington & Kable halls can be found on the descriptions above for each of the relevant halls.
The Lethington, Kable & Kanguroo halls combined house a maximum capacity of ninety people and is one-hundred meters square. All additional features for both the Lethington & Kable halls can be found on the descriptions above for each of the relevant halls.
The east facing Grosvenor suite is thirteen square meters and has a maximum capacity of ten people.
Additional features include: electric security entry, integrated alarm system, small round coffee table, high-back chairs, venetian blinds, carpet flooring, ceiling fan, wall mounted heater, small desk and office chair.
The south facing suite overlooks the community gardens. It offers a maximum capacity of four people and it is thirteen squared meters in total.
Suite five is fully furnished and it includes: electric security entry, integrated alarm system, office desk, bookshelf, filing cabinet, whiteboard and Air conditioning.
